The Gavilan is truly suited for many missions. As a cargo hauler it can easily fit bulky items such as 55 gallon drums, or 4x8 sheets of plywood. Or it can be converted to an aerial platform for a diverse variety of sensors, such as aerial photography, aerogravity flights or intelligence gathering missions. Or it is a large people hauler with seats for up to eight passengers. The Gavilan can easily take parachute jumpers, or up to four stretchers. It is truly an aircraft with many missions in mind. Few aircraft in production today can match the ruggedness built into the Gavilan.
